Three QMJHL referees to participate in NHL Officials training camp
The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League is happy to announce that three of its referees will participate at the NHL’s Officials Training Camp.
The active referees of the QMJHL, Jean-Philippe Sylvain, Pierre Lambert and Nicolas Leduc who are completing an internship at the ECHL level, will participate in the NHL’s Officials Camp which will be held in Toronto on September 7th.
This selection was based on the feedback received from NHL supervisors last season in the QMJHL. Their presence at the camp should allow them to work at higher levels, such as the American Hockey League.
This will be a unique experience for these referees who will have the privilege of meeting the 72 NHL professional Officials, of which 17 come from the QMJHL.
