Sydney - The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles have announced details today for their upcoming training camp. A total of 47 players will attend the Screaming Eagles 16^th training camp, which begins on Sunday, August 12^th at Cape Breton University.

The Screaming Eagles training camp rosters includes 30 forwards, 10 defensemen, and 7 goaltenders that are all vying for a spot on the team.  There are two notable defensemen not attending camp: 2011 draft pick Jacob Arsenault who has decided to play high school hockey this season, and 2012 second round draft pick Louis-Philippe Page who has decided to keep his option open for NCAA at this time.  Newly acquired goaltender David Honzik, who is currently recovering from a shoulder injury, will attend camp but will not participate until cleared by medical staff.

The Screaming Eagles training camp features two local exhibition games against the Halifax Mooseheads. The first being held on Sunday, August 19^th at the Canada Games Complex, and the second on Friday, September 7^th at Emera Centre Northside.  Both games are 7pm starts and tickets are available at the door.  There is also one black and white game scheduled; it takes place on Thursday, August 16^th at 7 pm at the Canada Games Complex at CBU.
