The Mooseheads and Big Brothers Big Sisters got together for their annual afternoon of fun. Over 200 people were on the Gorsebrook outdoor pad in Halifax for activities, food, games and the main event a huge ball hockey game featuring Little Brothers and Sisters along with four Mooseheads. Trey Lewis and Konrad Abeltshauser captained Team Green while Darcy Ashley and Brent Andrews led Team Purple. It was a close game full of teamwork and was a great example of how important it is to spend time with your friends.
Be on the lookout for the feature video that will play on the big screen during a Mooseheads game this season to see all the exciting highlights, including Trey Lewis’ unexpected time between the pipes during a penalty shootout. The Mooseheads would like to thank Big Brothers Big Sisters and their sponsors for their hard work as both organizations get ready for another season in Moose Country which kicks off Friday, September 28th at the Metro Centre when the Moose host the Gatineau Olympiques at 7pm.
