By 2014, TELUS will have invested more than $11M since the beginning of its partnership with the QMJHL to support young hockey athletes and offer a wide range of entertainment products to Quebec’s junior hockey fans. TELUS provides multiple ways to watch the junior teams’ exciting journeys, at home and on the go:
- Every game of the regular season, as well as the playoffs, will be broadcast at montelus.com/lhjmq.
- TELUS OPTIK TV will present 25 games of the regular season from L’Océanic, Les Remparts and Le Drakkar, in addition of several playoff games, on channels 535 (HD) and 135 (SD). The schedule is available at the following address: telusquebec.com/lhjmq.
- Sports fans can also watch the games broadcast on OPTIK TV live from their smartphones, wherever they are, through the QMJHL mobile app available for iPhone and Android.
‘’TELUS and the QMJHL share a long, 12-year history marked by the desire to promote junior hockey and its athletes. With this partnership, we also give back to community: we will invite 1,500 youngsters across Quebec and Atlantic Canada to attend games throughout the 2012-2013 season by giving free tickets to local charities,” says Ginette Paquin, Vice-President, Communications Marketing, TELUS Quebec. “Some lucky children will be selected to participate in the puck drop of some of the most important games. We hope that the hockey fever will spill over to the younger generation.’’
