The Moncton Wildcats came from behind , for the second night in a row, as they stunned the Armada in Boisbriand Friday night 3-2.
The Cats scored three times in the games final 11 minutes to erase a 2-0 Armada lead , to win their 3rd in a row. The winning goal comes in dramatic fashion , as Ivan Barbashev scores the winner, on the powerplay, with just 17 seconds left. Dmitri Jaskin started the comeback with his team leading 13th, at 9:15. Chris Lalonde(2nd) tied the game 58 seconds later to set the stage for the Barbashev heroics.
With the win, the Wildcats (8-7) grab a share of third in the Maritime Division with Acadie-Bathurst.
Alex Dubeau rock solid again, stopped 27 of 29 Armada shots.
The “3 games in 3 days” road trip in Quebec concludes for the Cats Sunday afternoon in Sherbrooke.
