The Acadie-Bathurst Titan snapped the Cats four game winning streak with a 3-2 victory in Bathurst Wednesday night.
The difference was 2 powerplay goals in the first that allowed the Titan to lead throughout, with period leads of 2-1 and 3-2.
The Cats pressured ,firing 39 shots , at Bathurst goaltender Jacob Brennan . The Moncton line of Alex and Alain Saulnier with Yannick Veillieux lead the way with 17 shots on net. Shot totals were 39-25 Moncton.
Ivan Barbashev (1g 1a) and Mitch Deruelle were the only Cats to solve Brennan, as the Titan ended a 4 game winless slide.
Moncton will try to put another sting of wins together Friday when the host the Shawinigan Cataractes at 7 in the Moncton Colisiem.
